"I CAN HEAR IT!"

The slight rhythm of a guitar fills the night as the two girls trudge through the field. They pick up their pace, throwing their arms into the air, reaching and searching for the unknown.

"I CAN FEEL IT!"

Flip flops digging between toes and mud squishing beneath new tennis shoes don't hinder the speed of the pursuit. Closer and closer they become to the mysterious music. An unexpected array of sound penetrates the uncultivated air... culture? Could it be? The girls grasped for it, wanting it so badly. Could this be what they have been longing for?

"I CAN SMELL IT!"

Years trapped in a town that smothered their minds, hearts, and souls. Months of fun stifled by rules and regulations. Could it be? A glimmer of hope? A wave of sound from another place... a place of more diversity and clarity? Reaching in desperation for a possible paradise, a possible escape from the ordinary buzz of the day.... something new.

"It's coming from over here..."

Crossing the road and avoiding all skeptical glances of the unaware passerby, they trace the path of the melody. Entranced by the husky voice and booming speakers they put all cares behind them. Passing houses and alley ways they seek out the culprit of the noise.

They stand in blissful ignorance, staring at a backyard filled with people.

"wow."

They peer from the corner of a house, to see a shadowy man with a guitar and microphone, synthesizers and speakers.

"This is as close as we're going to get to dineen fest tonight."

......Jeremiah was a bullfrog.... The girls hear the requested song begin to blast, with more clarity than ever before. They begin to wiggle in shake in the dim lit streets. The street lights illuminate their soft features as they grab each others hands and twirl into the night. Singing and dancing through the street, their hearts burst with vitality, brought to life by the glimpse of art discovered among the bunched houses. Closer they spin to warp speed, where they will proceed to fly out of their minds.
